Government High school Idikarai alumni celebrate Golden Jubilee

Old students of Government High School, Idikarai, who studied Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) in 1974-75, gathered on December 29 to celebrate  the 50th year of their SSLC batch. 
They honoured their teachers Smt Shakuntala, Smt Rajamani, Sri Ponnusamy and Smt Dhanamani, recognising their contributions to the students' education. As part of the celebration, the alumni pledged to donate Rs. 1,20,000 as school development fund to support the institution's future growth.  The celebration was graced by the school's current headmaster, Sri Rangasamy and Parent Teacher Association president Sri Thiagarajan, along with several teachers and other well wishers who attended as special invitees.
