Ahead of the Parliamentary Lok Sabha general election, the training class for polling station chief officers and polling officers were held at Nirmala College of Arts and Science, and Hindustan College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore, was attended by District Election Officer and District Collector, Kranthikumar Padi.
During this event, Corporation Commissioner Mr.Ma.Sivaguru Prabhakaran, Deputy Commissioners of Corporation Mrs.Selvasurabi, Mr.Sivakumar, Deputy Collector Social Security Scheme Mr.Suresh and many others were present.
Subsequently, the District Election Officer visited the model polling center set up at the Hindustan College of Arts and Sciences.
In this training session, explanation of voting machines, guidance for filling the most important forms in the master cover were given.
