An awareness rally was on Wednesday organised by the NSS students of the United College of Nursing in Coimbatore in observation of World Health Day.
World Health Day is celebrated every year on the 7th of April. This year World Health Day is observed under the auspices of the World Health Organisation under the theme 'Our Planet, Our Health'.
Students and teachers of the United Nursing College at Periyanaickenpalayam, Coimbatore started a rally to observe the theme of this year at Jyotipuram, Periyanaickenpalayam and ended it at Vivekam School, Veerapandi.
The rally was flagged off by Dr Ramkumar, Principal, United College of Technology, Ruby Anita, Principal, United College of Nursing, and Dinesh Kumar, Range Police Officer, Periyanayakanpalayam.
