VMHSS students bag I prize in science expo

Times of India daily conducted a best science innovation competition for students of Erode, Salem, Namakkal and Coimbatore districts at Salem recently. Around 600 innovations were exhibited in the science expo and of which 
'Boat removing hyatus',  the innovation of the  10th students of Vellalar Matric HSS, Thindal Erode, R Ilakkia, GV Nithyashree, and G Deepikashree won I prize and Rs 10000 cash prize and 'dyeing through compresssed carbon dioxide method' won III prize and Rs 5000 cash prize.  The school students S Yazhini (10th std),  Sowbarnika and Madhushree (9th std)'s modern sowing machine won V prize and Rs 2000 cazh prize. They were guided by the science teachers of the school and appreciated by the school correspondent SD Chandrasekar, principal V Latha and administrative manager V Senniappan.
