Udhayanidhi distributes Rs 22 cr government benefits to 4000 people at Erode

Sports Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin distributed government welfare benefits worth Rs 22 crore to about 4000 people in various sectors at a function held at Erode on 
Friday.
In his speech he said he that ''It is a pleasure to inaugurate various projects in the land of Periyar's birthplace.
Distribution of Kalaignar sports kits worth Rs 86 crore to 12,525 panchayats was inaugurated by him at a program held in Madurai in February.
Accordingly, 33 types of sports equipment will be distributed to 633 panchayats of Karur and Erode districts in the program held here.
Employment opportunities for sports persons are created in 
PSUs. 
The Chief Minister has ordered to give appointment orders to 100 sportspersons in the government sector in the first phase under the three percent reservation. 
We are making new initiatives to promote sports which should reach villages. 
Village Youth should be refreshed by using the sports kits. 
Although there are many schemes in the name of Kalaignar, this is the first time that the project called Kalaignar Sports Kit distribution  is being implemented on behalf of the sports department.  What about athletes? They should have skills, energy, lively mind, accurate calculation skills, teamwork etc. 
That's why we call the project as Kalaignar Sports Kit. The sports facilities provided by the government should be developed by the youth to develop their artistic qualities and skills.
In Periyar's place, his grandson Erode East MLA  Ilangovan is given house site patta here. 
His daughter was given sports aid.
It has been a long time dream to provide  house site  Pattas to people of Erode area. The government has fulfilled  today. 
The government has given legal rights to your land. Government service should reach every family in Tamil Nadu.  Every individual should benefit from government schemes.    It is the aim of this government, he added.
