Erode Collector Rajagopal Sunkara inspected the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) Group-4 examination, held at the Dr RANM arts college, Rangampalayam Erode on Sunday. The exam was held for filling up 6,244 vacant posts in Tamil Nadu. The exam was held in 194 centers in Erode district. 57205 persons wrote the exam in the district. Cell phones, digital watches etc. were not allowed inside the centre. They were allowed to carry only black ballpoint pens. Candidates were allowed to enter the entrance gate of the center only after a thorough check. The exam took place from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. Earlier, the question papers, kept at the Erode District Treasury, came few hours before the commencement of the examination. 45 mobile teams and flying squads were formed to monitor the exam. 239 policemen were on security duty in 194 examination centers.
