Students Creativity to the Fore at Fashion Show in City College

‘Evanza 24’, the annual flagship event of PSGR Krishnammal College for Women, was held recently. 
Ms.Meenu M.Pillai, famed designer and Co-Founder, Zeuron, Bangalore was the Chief Guest during the event. Dr. R.Nandini, Chairperson of the college, Dr. R. Shanthi, Dean, Department of Costume and Apparel Design and Dr. R. Radhika, HOD, Department of Costume Design and Fashion, were also present on the occasion.
The Chief Guest in her address said that to succeed in one’s career students need to have belief in themselves and self-confidence. During her address she added that when the students go out to the world with their degrees, they should remember that their success is not just their achievement, but their success should inspire others to achieve.
Dr.Shanthi, Dean, Costume and Apparel Design Department presented the Evanza 24 report on the occasion. 
Earlier welcoming the gathering, Dr. Nandini warmly congratulated the Department of Costumes and Apparel Design for the organization of the event. She mentioned that the event is designed by the enterprising and creative students of the department to showcase their skills in fashion and apparel design. She added that Evanza is very special this year as it is a part of the Chandrakanthi Birth Centenary Celebrations. She extended her best wishes to all the participants in the event.
