Rotary Club of Coimbatore executes 9 welfare projects

District Governor's Official Visit to Rotary Club of Coimbatore Millennium took place at Hotel Rathna Residency, Variety Hall Road, Coimbatore, marking a significant occasion for the club. 
During the visit, nine projects were executed, showcasing the club's commitment to serving the community.
Among the projects carried out, 400 Cambridge writing pens were distributed to students of Government Boys & Girls Higher Secondary Schools at Chinna Thadagam, Anaikatti, and Kavundampalayam. Additionally, 250 Health Kits were distributed to girl students of Panchayat Union Primary School at Thirumalayampalayam, near Ettimadi, in collaboration with Good Shepherd Health Education Centre and Dispensary.
Furthermore, a Table Tennis Table worth Rs. 23,000 was donated to a Government High School, while a complete renovation of an Anganwadi, approved by the Commissioner of Coimbatore Corporation, was launched, amounting to Rs. 1,50,000.
During the event, District Governor Rtn. T. R. Vijayakumar launched the club website and Club Bulletin. Notable guests present included District Director Rtn. Gokulraj, Assistant Governor Rtn. Sriramalu, and GGR Rtn. Ramesh.
The event saw the induction of new members into the Rotary Club of Coimbatore Millennium, including leading Gastroenterologist Dr. P. S. Rajan and his spouse Dr. Vidya Rajan, as well as Chief Manager of Indian Overseas Bank Mr. Karthikeyan and Mr. L. Ramesh.
Past Presidents Rtn. Paul William and Rtn. R. Hendry Amalaraj conducted the event as masters of ceremony, ensuring its smooth and grand execution.
