PPG College students take part in voting awareness campaign

The Coimbatore administration continues its efforts to promote awareness about the importance of 100% voter turnout for the Lok Sabha elections. Recently, District Electoral Officer and Coimbatore Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati participated in an awareness campaign organised by students of PPG Institute of Technology.

Over 1500 students came together to form the shape of the Indian subcontinent, symbolising unity and the collective responsibility of citizens in the democratic process. This activity aimed to emphasise the significance of voting. Additionally, students took an oath with the district collector, pledging to exercise their voting rights on election day.

The event was attended by the college's founder and chairman, Dr. LP Thangavelu, as well as the vice chairman, Akshay Thangavelu.
