Nilgiris Collector Lakshmi Bhavya Thaneeru conducted an inspection of several government projects in the Gudalur region on August 21 as part of the "Ungalai Thedi Ungal Ooril" scheme. Her visit included a review of the Chief Minister’s Free Breakfast scheme at the Panchayat Union Primary School in Kodamula Panchayat. She also visited an Anganwadi in the Allur region, where she verified the weight and height of the students and inspected the list of essential products available at the centre.
Additionally, the Collector inspected the construction of a community hall and residences for tribal communities, funded by TAHDCO at a cost of Rs. 60 lakhs and Rs. 4.95 lakhs respectively. She later held a consultation meeting at the Gudalur Revenue Officer’s office, discussing the progress of the "Ungalai Thedi Ungal Ooril" scheme with government officers. The meeting was attended by District Superintendent of Police Nisha, Additional Collector Koushik, District Revenue Officer Narayanan, Associate Director of the Horticulture Department Shiphila Mary, and other officials.
