Minister appeals to support organic farming at Erode

On behalf of the Department of Agriculture, Housing Minister Muthuswamy inaugurated a seminar on organic farming in Erode today. Earlier, he inaugurated an exhibition on Organic Farming which included seeds.  In his speech he said that organic farming is very necessary today. So the government gives priority to it. 20% of agriculture is organic farming now. It should be increased. He urged ryots to produce through organic farming. If you use the organic farm products, you will get a disease-free life. The program was attended by Joint Director of Agriculture Venkatesan, Assistant Director Samuel and organic farmers.
