KPR College of Arts, Science, and Research (KPRCAS) has taken a significant step in enhancing technology-driven education by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with I-Robochakra. This partnership aims to equip students with cutting-edge skills through advanced training programs, certification courses, live projects, and research opportunities, aligning with the demands of the evolving robotics industry.
The MoU was signed during the inauguration of ROBOCRAFT-2025, a three-day robotics workshop organised by the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. The collaboration focuses on bridging the gap between theoretical learning and practical applications, providing students with hands-on experience in robotics and AI technologies.
Arun Rajeev, Managing Partner of I-Robochakra, emphasised the importance of industry-oriented learning and encouraged students to view challenges as opportunities for innovation. Dr. P Geetha, Principal of KPRCAS, hailed the agreement as a milestone, highlighting its role in promoting transformative learning experiences and preparing students for real-world applications.
The inaugural session featured a Presidential Address by Dr. P Geetha and felicitations by Dr. P Sharmila, Dean of the School of Computing Science. The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by R Sabarish, a first-year AI & DS student, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries and participants.
