Grievance redressal meeting for pensioners and family pensioners was conducted at the Tiruvanamalai District Collector's Office, led by District Collector T. Bhaskarabandian.
A total of 108 petitions related to Family Pension, Allowance, Cash Benefit, and Medical Expense Amount were received in the Pensioner Grievance Redressal Day meeting. These petitions have been forwarded to the respective departments, and the concerned officers have directly communicated with the pensioners to inform them of the actions taken. The District Collector and the Director of Pensions were directed to ensure prompt and appropriate actions in addressing the petitions submitted to departmental officers regarding pensions.
The meeting was attended by Additional Secretary (Finance) and Director Pension Sridhar, Senior Superintendent Gopalakrishnan, District Revenue Officer Dr. M. Priyadarshini, District Treasury Officer K. Deepavathy, District Collector's Assistant (Accounts) Ira. Perumal, and District Government Head's Interview Assistant (General) V. Vetrivel.
The petitioners who filed grievances for the Pensioner Grievance Redressal Day meeting were also present during the session.
