Dr. Rajendran’s book on Maternal and Child Nutrition receives prestigious award

Dr. Rajendran K, Professor and Head of the Department of Paediatrics at Kovai Medical Center & Hospital (KMCH) and president of the Indian Academy of Paediatrics - Tamilnadu Chapter 2025, has been honoured with the Best Tamil Medical Book of the Year 2021 Award. 
The accolade was presented by the Minister of Information, and Publicity M.P. Saminathan.
The book delves into comprehensive discussions on maternal and child nutrition, covering essential topics such as the care of pregnant women, antenatal and breastfeeding health, and dietary recommendations. Dr. Rajendran elucidates the benefits of breastfeeding, provides guidance on feeding techniques, and addresses common breastfeeding challenges. The book addresses childhood ailments like diarrhoea, constipation, and malnutrition, emphasising dietary solutions for treatment and prevention.
This publication serves as an authoritative resource on nutrition for children with various medical conditions and those engaged in sports. Dr. Rajendran's book builds upon his previous best selling work, 'Child Health.'
