The DMK issued a scathing critique of Edappadi Palaniswami (EPS), asserting that his tenure as Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu has been detrimental to the state's development.

The statement highlighted several incidents, including the Tuticorin Sterlite factory protests, where EPS's administration allegedly failed to address the concerns of the people. It criticised the handling of the situation, particularly the fatal shooting of protesters by police under EPS's watch.

Moreover, the statement accused EPS of mishandling the sexual assault cases in Pollachi and neglecting the grievances of victims. It also blamed him for allowing the NEET exam into Tamil Nadu, a decision that drew criticism from various quarters.

The DMK further criticised EPS's involvement in projects like the Uday Power Project, which it claimed burdened Tamil Nadu financially. Additionally, it accused him of nepotism in government job allocations and of supporting controversial laws like the Citizenship Amendment Act and the three agricultural laws.

The DMK alleged that EPS's policies have hindered industrial development in Tamil Nadu and accused him of pandering to the BJP for political gains.

In conclusion, the DMK denounced EPS's alleged alliance with the BJP and accused him of attempting to manipulate voters' sentiments.
