Delegation from Burkina Faso visit SVPISTM

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International School of Textiles & Management (SVPISTM) hosted a delegation from Burkina Faso on July 23, facilitated by Gherzi Consulting Engineers Pvt. Ltd. The visit aimed to explore international collaboration and advancements in the textile industry. Gherzi Consulting, with expertise in textile management and engineering, operates globally in strategy, operations, and sustainability.
The delegation included stakeholders from companies like GIZ, 2M Invest, and MEBF, who toured SVPISTM to understand its capabilities and explore collaborative opportunities. Dr. P Allirani, Director of SVPISTM, welcomed the visitors and highlighted the Indian textile industry's post-COVID growth and SVPISTM's role in professionalising the sector.
The delegation visited SVPISTM's state-of-the-art laboratories, including Garment, Weaving/Knitting, and Textile Testing Labs, to observe cutting-edge research and development. The visit concluded with a group discussion over refreshments, discussing potential industry-institute interactions and future collaborations. This visit strengthens international ties and improves collaboration in the global textile industry, highlighting Gherzi and SVPISTM's commitment to innovation and sustainability.
