A cyber security research center has been opened on behalf of the Information Technology Department at Sri Ramakrishna College of Engineering, Vattamalai Palayam, near Tudiyalur, Coimbatore.
In the opening ceremony, Head of Information Technology Department Ms. Senthamil welcomed. College Principal Dr. NR Alamelu presided. Ravichandran Durairajan, Head of IT Center of the Schlumberger company, inaugurated the Research Center as the Chief Guest.
EC Council Principal Educationist Kumar Ishan was the guest of honor and spoke in detail about cyber security and its applications.
The Center of Excellence is dedicated to faculty and students conducting research in cyber security, information security audit and governance, Computer Hacking, Forensic Investigator, Certified Ethical Hacker, Certified Secure Computer User.
