Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner Sivaguru Prabhakaran inaugurated a newly constructed children's park in the PMR layout of Coimbatore's East zone on July 24. The park was developed at a cost of Rs. 82 lakhs with the assistance of private organisations, specifically the Vijayalakshmi Ramakrishnan Trust, under the Namakku Naame scheme.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Deputy Mayor Vetriselvan, who, along with Commissioner Prabhakaran, expressed gratitude to the Vijayalakshmi Ramakrishnan Trust for their generous contribution to the project. The event also saw the presence of Assistant Commissioner Muthuswamy, Vijayalakshmi Ramakrishnan Trust Founder Ramakrishnan, Executive Engineer Karupuswamy, Assistant Executive Engineer Rajavel, and other government officers.
This new park is part of the ongoing development projects in various regions of Coimbatore, aimed at enhancing the quality of life for residents.
