Coimbatore Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati inspected various development projects in the Sulur region, including areas like Kannampalayam, Sulur, Muthugoundampudhur, and Kaniyur, on Tuesday.
During his visit, Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati toured the renovated Horticulture farm in Kannampalayam. The farm is notable for manufacturing a heavily supplied fungicide and also produces fruit plants, herbal plants, ornamental plants, and vermicompost, generating products worth Rs 50 lakhs per year.
The Collector also inspected the fair price shops run by the Agricultural Producers Cooperative Marketing Society. He verified the availability of essential goods such as rice, palm oil, and dhal, and inquired about their proper disbursement to ration card holders.
Additionally, he examined the model houses being constructed under the Kalaignar Kanavu Illam scheme in Kaniyur. He urged the officers to complete the project swiftly while ensuring quality construction.
Deputy Director of Horticulture Department Bhuvaneshwari, Assistant Collector Malliga, Deputy Director of Agricultural Department Punitha, and other government officials accompanied him during the inspections.
