CM to attend election meeting at Erode on March 31

The CM will attend election meeting for Erode, Namakkal and Karur districts in the Karur Road, Erode on March 31, said Housing Minister S Muthusamy.
He addressed a DMK front meeting to introduce the Erode LS DMK candidate KE Prakash at Thangam Mahal, Mettukadai, near Erode, on Friday.
In his speech, he said that unlike the stand of a few, DMK front would get great victory in the LS poll in the west zone this time.
Despite fund constraint, CM offered free travel for women in town buses and mofussil buses in hill areas, offered Mahalir Urimai Thogai of Rs 1000 per month to 1.17 cr women, Rs 1000 per month for women higher education aid. Under the Makkaludan Mudalvar scheme, he arranged solution to public problems within a month. He 
sanctioned 2 bus stands for Erode at Solar and Ganiravutharkulam. Nearby the upcoming Solar bus stand, an integrated market and indoor stadium were also sanctioned by the CM and Sports Minister, he added. The DMK front leaders spoke on the occasion.
