Allotment of duties to Election Officers through computer

In Erode District Collectorate today District Election Officer and District Collector Mr. Raja Gopal Sunkara has allocated work for the officers who are going to work at the polling station on the day of polling on April 19 through computer randomization.

The officers who are scheduled to work on the day have been assigned work on a computerized rotation basis. 2666 chief officers, 2666 first level, 2666 second level 2666 third level and 306 fourth level officers will work in the 2222 polling centers in 8 constituencies including Erode East, Erode West, Modakurichi, Perundurai, Bhavani, Andiyur, Gobichettipalayam, Bhavanisagar. A total of 10,970 officers are to be employed.  Out of 2222 polling stations, 255 polling stations have more than 1200 voters. Subsequently, the District Election Officer and the District Collector visited the Election Control Room functioning in the District Collector's Office premises and inquired about the complaints received. 18 complaints have been received through toll free number 1800-425-0424, 1 through 1950 number and 10 through the app. District Revenue Officers Mr. Su. Shantha Kumar (Erode) Mrs. Kavitha (Aavin), PA to District Collector Mr. Raghunathan (Election) Mr. Muhammad Kuduratullah (General), were present.
