Ahead of the Lok Sabha General Election - 2024, vote counting training for the counting supervisors, counting assistants and observers working at the Coimbatore Parliament counting center was held at RS Puram Art Gallery under the leadership of District Electoral Officer / District Collector Mr.Krantikumar Padi.
Corporation Commissioner Sivaguruprabaharan, Deputy Commissioner Selvasurabi, Assistant Commissioner, Urban Land and Urban Land Ceiling Ilavarasi, PA to District Collector (General) (P) Vishnuvartini, Special Sub-Collector, Social Security Scheme Suresh, RDOs Govindan, Bandarinathan, Tahsildar (Election) Thanikaivel and many others attended.
In this training class, the Collector said, Lok Sabha General Election – 2024 was held on 19th April. Following that, the voting machines used during the elections in Coimbatore district have been kept safe in the Government College of Technology for Coimbatore Parliamentary Constituency and Pollachi Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology for Pollachi Parliamentary Constituency. Further, counting of votes will be held on 04.06.2024. A training program for the Counting Supervisors, Counting Assistants and Observers was held today, he added.
