Tiruppur District Collector T Christuraj conducted an inspection of several development projects in Palladam on September 18 as part of the Ungalai Thedi Ungal Ooril scheme. The inspection focused on various government schemes currently being implemented in the region.
During the visit, the Collector reviewed the progress of houses being constructed under the Kalaignar Kannavu Illam scheme in Palladam, Ganapathi Palayam, and Kahir Nagar. He also examined the water level improvement work in Manikapuram pond and the construction of new pavements in the area. Additionally, he inspected the facilities at the Palladam Government College, evaluated the condition of the hospital, and assessed the ongoing construction of toilets at the Palladam Government Bus Stand under the Swachh Bharat scheme.
The inspection team included District Revenue Officer Karthikeyan, District Rural Development Agency Program Director Malarvizhi, Designating Officer (Food Safety Department) Vijaya Lalithambigai, General Manager (Aavin) Sujatha, General Manager (TAHDCO) Ranjith Kumar, and District Adi Dravidar Welfare Officer Pushpa Devi, along with other government officials.
