Tiruppur's AIADMK candidate, Arunachalam, along with Tiruppur North Assembly Constituency MLA and Tirupur Union League Secretary KN Vijayakumar, conducted a campaign to garner votes. They were joined by various local leaders and representatives from areas such as Perumanallur, Etiveerampalayam, Sivasakthi, Sokkanur, Kankampalayam, Kalipalayam, and Pongupalayam Panchayat.

During the campaign, Arunachalam promised to address the persistent traffic congestion issue by constructing a new flyover from Pandyannagar to Pushpa Theater. This project, estimated at Rs 900 crore, was previously announced by former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami in the Legislative Assembly. Arunachalam emphasised the importance of this initiative in alleviating traffic problems on Perumanallur Road.

Highlighting the stronghold of AIADMK in Tiruppur North Constituency, Arunachalam credited the ADMK government and MLA KN Vijayakumar for implementing numerous welfare schemes in the region. However, he criticised the DMK government for discontinuing these schemes and increasing electricity bills, milk prices, bus fares, and property taxes after coming to power.

Coming from a humble farming background, Arunachalam expressed his understanding of the challenges faced by the people in the region. He urged voters to support the double leaf symbol to oust the DMK government. The campaign event was attended by Panchayat Council Presidents, Co-operative Society Executives, and representatives from SDPI and DMDK parties.
