Minister of Information and Publicity Saminathan handed over government orders to the public and farmers at Keerthi Senthil marriage hall in Udumalpet region, Tiruppur, on July 15. 
He distributed government orders to 510 beneficiaries, amounting to Rs. 9.78 crores under the Kalaignar Kanavu Illam scheme, which aims to build new homes and renovate old ones. Additionally, he provided 70 farmers with government orders allowing them to utilise alluvial soil for agriculture.
Speaking at the event, Minister Saminathan emphasised, “The Chief Minister has been implementing several welfare schemes to benefit the public. Specifically, there have been numerous development projects carried out under the Township and Panchayat department. 
As part of this initiative, we handed over government orders under the Kalaignar Kanavu Illam scheme to 510 beneficiaries from Udumalpet, Madathukulam, and Gudimangalam panchayat union to assist them in building new homes and renovating old ones. 
We also provided a government order allowing 70 farmers to utilise alluvial soil for agriculture.”
Tiruppur Collector T Christuraj, Pollachi MP Eeshwarasamy, District Rural Development Agency Director Malarvizhi, Udumalpet Revenue Officer Jashwant Kannan, and other government officials were present during the event.
