The event commenced with prayers by Sis. Sumaiya, followed by a welcome address by JIH Kovai Public Relations Secretary, M Abdul Hakeem. Zaheena Ahmed, leader of the JIH Kovai women’s wing, delivered the presidential address, emphasising the importance of financial independence for women to live with
dignity.
Dr. Vidhya Rajan, founder of ELCE Medical Foundation and Virtual Rescue Force, motivated the attendees to pursue their careers with strength and courage. Farzana Akbar, Associate Manager at Accenture Technology Center, and Dr. Nida Saleem, Co-founder and Managing Director of Healing Touch Rehab, also encouraged the graduates to explore entrepreneurship. Thanga Raj from CDTP Women’s Polytechnic College urged the graduates to proudly display their certificates.
The event featured a special address by Moulavi Mohammed Ismayil Imdadi, Secretary of JIH’s Department of Human Resource Development, who spoke on the topic "Morality is Freedom," stressing the importance of moral values alongside the advancement of women's status and education.
The program was coordinated by JIH Women Wing Secretary Sharmila, and certificates were awarded to 140 trained women, honouring their achievement in tailoring skills.
