Minister of State for Jalshakti and Tribal Welfare Department Bisweswara Tudu said that India will become a developed country if everyone makes a concerted effort to take advantage of the Central government's schemes.

He spoke at the Our Ambition: Developed Nation Awareness Yatra  near Bhavani on Thursday while providing welfare assistance to the beneficiaries.

He said:

State government officials do not care to participate in the yatra to highlight the achievements of the central government. The plans for the development of the country should be mentioned to the people, awareness should be created and its benefits should be ensured.

The central government provides 60 percent of the funds for the Prime Minister's Housing Project and the state government provides 40 percent. But the state governments do not say that it is a plan of the central government. Jaljeevan Mission is being implemented to provide piped clean drinking water to all households by 2024. Although the central government has provided 100 percent funding to the state government for this scheme, it is painful for the state government officials to receive up to Rs. 20,000 from the beneficiaries.

This yatra is being held from 15th November to 24th January 2023 as all the programs of the central government should reach the villages in the country. Awareness about central government schemes should reach everyone. Only then will India become a developed country.

To create a developed India in 2047, the 100th year of independence, many programs are being implemented for women, poor, farmers and people below the poverty line. Emphasis is given to self-employment to make it a self-reliant Bharat.

In the last 10 years, through the skill development program, youth and women have been given career loans and grants. There are various schemes including financial assistance scheme for farmers. Knowing this, farmers should act in such a way as to increase and double their income.
