The water resources department has removed electric motors for pumping water in the Bhavanisagar dam area on Sunday.
The Water Resources Department officials received information that water is being suck from the dam area by electric motors in the Chithankuttai area of the dam area. Following this, officials conducted an inspection in the Chithankuttai area on Sunday. At that time, the water resources department employees removed the electric motors and plastic pipes installed near the dam area.
Officials have informed that measures will be taken to prevent water from being absorbed by electric motors by conducting a survey in the dam area.
