The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) successfully launched its PSLV spacecraft from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh, in the early hours of December 31 carrying a payload of two SpaceX spacecrafts.
The main task of the mission is  to connect the two spacecraft in space after placing them in the orbit. Weighing 220 kg each, these two spacecrafts, made in India are reportedly capable of exchanging  electricity between them. They  will send back important data needed for future space missions.
ISRO Chairman S.Somanath said that the technology to connect the spacecraft will be tested in the next week. If successful in this endeavor, India will become the fourth country to launch spacecraft into space.
ISRO has been climbing the ladder of success without any failures in recent times. This mission will also be a success. The entire Indian nation is waiting for this to happen.
