Even after years of development and many technologies, if there is one disease that is still incurable, it is cancer. Even after many studies and researches, the world has struggled to find a complete cure for cancer. Although some drugs have shown promise against cancer, they have not completely cured it. Until now, chemotherapy has been the main treatment method against cancer.
It is in this context that the Russian Ministry of Health's Radiological Research Center has announced that it has successfully developed a vaccine against cancer. The country's government has announced that the final stage of research into developing the vaccine is underway and that it will be available to patients by 2025. What is even more special is that it has been announced that it will be available for free.
Even last year, a drug discovered against cancer in the United States cured patients in a trial. All cancer patients who were tested were 100 percent cured after taking this drug, without chemotherapy. This trial was conducted on a very small scale.
Another research conducted in the United States has similarly found a cure for cancer. A joint research team consisting of experts from Rice University, Texas A&M University, and the University of Texas has made a wonderful discovery against cancer. They have discovered a medicine that kills cancer cells by stimulating certain molecules with light. The research results indicate that this method is 99 per cent effective.
While all of these therapeutic discoveries have yet to be implemented, the fact that Russian scientists have now discovered a vaccine for cancer has captured the world's attention.
It is noteworthy that a few months ago, Russian President Vladimir Putin, while speaking in this regard, said, "We have developed cancer vaccines. These will soon be available to the public. This cancer vaccine will be more effective than direct treatment for people and will protect people from cancer."
The time has come to say goodbye to the phrase "cancer is an incurable disease." The day when Russian vaccines become available will undoubtedly be a golden day for the world.
