Chief Minister M.K. Stalin announced in the Legislative Assembly that the government would fully fund the education of Tamil Nadu government school students from grade 6 to 12 who join premier higher education institutions in India. A government order has now been issued to implement this, also extending support to cover the first travel expenses for those joining foreign institutions. Additionally, Rs. 6 crore will be allocated annually for this scheme.
Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, who is implementing many new schemes that are exemplary to make Tamil Nadu students world-renowned scholars, has introduced a golden initiative for the education of government school students. There is no doubt that this initiative will pave the way for poor and simple students to pursue their higher education without any hindrance.
