The 8th convocation ceremony of CSI Bishop Appasamy College of Education was held at CSI Immanuel church,
campus in Uppilipalayam, Coimbatore, where more than 200 students received their degrees.
The event saw 240 students awarded with bachelor's degrees in education by the college Chairman and CSI Bishop in Coimbatore Rt.Rev Timothy Ravinder.
In his address to the graduates, Bishop Ravinder emphasised that education not only enhances individual lives but also improves economic standards.
He highlighted the critical role of teachers in society, describing them as architects who shape students' lives by instilling social concerns, and reminded the graduates that teaching is a charitable profession.
The ceremony was attended by College principal Dr.M.kethci,
and Secretary Dr. D.Rajan professors, and parents.
