UngalaiThedi, UngalOoril (Looking for you in your town)', the new initiative launched by the Chief Minister, has come into force today with the goal of making sure that all government assistance programs and services reach the people without delay.
Every month on the fourth Wednesday, the District Collector will host "UngalaiThediUngalOoril" (Looking for you in your town / village) scheme camps in all districts except Chennai district. Additionally, the district head will notify the public ahead of time about the Taluk where the camp is being hosted.
According to this scheme, the District Collector and other high officials of the district level will stay in the selected Taluk from 9 am to 9 am the next day and conduct a field survey on the activities of the programs / services being implemented by various government departments.
Based on the feedback received during the field survey, the District Collectors will take appropriate measures for providing improved services / expediting the projects. And on that day, District Collectors will meet people directly, listen to their grievances, receive petitions and take appropriate action on them.
Chief Minister M.K.Stalin has requested the general public to make good use of this camp in order to get government services easily and quickly.
Like the previously announced flagship initiatives with public backing, there is little doubt that this project, which is searching for individuals in their town, will also be a success.
Similarly, to win the next parliamentary elections, the alliance headed by Chief Minister M. K. Stalin would undoubtedly dedicate itself to such commendable initiatives carried out by the Tamil Nadu government.
