Tiruvannamalai Collector D Bhaskara Pandian receives petition from people

Tiruvannamalai District Collector D Bhaskara Pandian inspected the areas under the Kalasapakkam Circle as part of the "Ungalai Thedi Ungal Ooril" program for the second day on June 29.

On June 28, under the special scheme initiated by the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, the District Collector conducted a survey of various projects being implemented by different departments in the panchayats under the Kalasapakkam Circle and received petitions from the public. For the 54 panchayats, district-level officers were appointed to survey the government schemes in those areas.

During his inspection, the District Collector reviewed several initiatives, including the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme for 100 days of work, municipal council offices, schools, Anganwadis, cooperative shops, and government primary health centers. He also assessed schemes implemented by the Agriculture Department, products sold in cooperative shops, and programs run by the Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department, including student hostels. He instructed officials to carry out the necessary work and provided welfare assistance to the beneficiaries.

On June 29, at the Melvannianur Panchayat Union Middle School, he inspected the Chief Minister's breakfast program, joined the students for breakfast to evaluate the quality and taste of the food, and assessed the students' learning abilities.

Additionally, he visited the Melvannianur Panchayat Anganwadi Center and inspected a house being constructed under the Green House Scheme. At the local hospital, he examined the psychiatry department, dispensary, dressing room, emergency department, birth and death registration center, vaccination center, and delivery room. He inquired with the doctors about the availability of treatment methods and visited schools implementing the Chief Minister's breakfast program to evaluate the quality of the food.

Project Director of Women's Program Saranya Devi, Arani Revenue Commissioners, Kalasapakkam Thasildar, Branch Development Officer, and other departmental officers participated in the inspection.
