Sri Ramakrishna Hospital to provide financial aid to premature babies in ICU

Sri Ramakrishna Hospital in Coimbatore, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Coimbatore Cotton City, has initiated a project called 'Little Miracles' aimed at extending financial assistance to premature babies requiring treatment at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital.

The launch event of this noble initiative witnessed the presence of distinguished personalities including D Lakshminarayanaswamy, Managing Trustee of SNR Sons Charitable Trust, Rtn. Chella Raghavendaran, DGN DIST 3206, GGR, Rtn. Ajay Gupta, President Rtn. Krishna Samant, Rtn. Dr. Neetika Prabu, Secretary, Chairman Rtn. Santosh Mundra, Rtn. Pradeep Karnani, Co-Chairman, Rtn. Prassanah Kumar Kothari, Director Community Service, along with members, families, and friends of the Rotary Club of Coimbatore Cotton City.

Premature birth remains a significant concern impacting families nationwide, often leading to substantial medical expenses beyond the means of many. In acknowledgment of this challenge, the Rotary Club of Coimbatore Cotton City has initiated a project dedicated to supporting financially disadvantaged families.

Through the 'Little Miracles' initiative, eligible premature babies will receive financial aid to cover the expenses associated with their treatment. Sri Ramakrishna Hospital extends treatment at discounted rates, ensuring optimal utilisation of funds in saving these precious lives.

The collaboration between the Rotary Club of Coimbatore Cotton City and Sri Ramakrishna Hospital highlights the effectiveness of partnerships in addressing critical social issues. Together, they endeavour not only to save lives but also to alleviate the financial burden on families during their time of distress.
