MLA inaugurates marathon at Erode

Perundurai MLA S. Jayakumar inaugurated the marathon to promote physical health in Perundurai and awarded prizes to the winners. More than a thousand people from 17 districts participated. JK Moongil Katru Foundation, Prithvic Fashions, Z Fit, DBAG and others organized the competition for the third time. 
Madhavan and Taruna (general category) Tamilarasan and Ladshitha (under 14) won the first prize of Rs.5000 each and bicycles. In these four categories the second prize is Rs 3000 and the third prize is Rs. 2000.  10 persons were awarded Rs.500 each as the fourth prize.
