Minister of Social Welfare and Women's Rights Mrs. P. Geetha Jeevan and Minister of Human Resource Management Mrs. N. Kayalvizhi Selvaraj inaugurated the district level project of textile federation to strengthen the safety and gender equality of women in textile and garment industries in the state inTirupur on Thursday.

Subsequently, the Ministers distributed sewing machines valued at Rs.75,000/- to 15 beneficiaries under the District Collector's Discretionary Fund on behalf of the Social Welfare Department.
