Minister distributes govt benefits to 112 diffables

Tamil Development and Information Minister Mr. M. P. Saminathan presented three wheelers and smart phones worth Rs.96.00 lakh to 112 diffables and tabs worth Rs.2.35 crore to 1847 secondary teachers at a function held at the collectorate on Friday.

District Collector Mr. Tha. Kristaraj and Mayor Mr. N. Dinesh Kumar presided over  the program organized by the Department of Differently Abled and Education departments.

 Mr. M. P. Saminathan informed that in 2023-2024, three wheelers were given to 92 disabled people at an estimated cost of Rs.96.00 lakhs.  Following this, a study meeting on law and order and drug prevention was held under the leadership of Minister Mr. M. P. Saminathan and Minister of Adi Dravidar Health Department Mrs. N. Kayalvizhi Selvaraj at Tirupur District Collectorate. 

In this event, Municipal Police Commissioner Mr. Praveen Kumar Abinabu District Police Superintendent Mr. Abhishek Gupta, District Revenue Officer Mr. D. P. Jaibeem, Tirupur Sub-Collector Ms. Soumya Anand, Municipal Deputy Commissioners of Police Mr. Kris Ashok Yadav, Mr. Rajarajan, Project Director of District Rural Development Agency Ms. Ko. Malarvizhi, Assistant Commissioner (Excise) Mr. Ramkumar, District Education Officer (Elementary Education) Mr. Devaraj, Planning Officers (District Planning Office) Mr. Annadurai, Mr. Sivakumar, District Disabled Welfare Officer Mr. Vasantha Ramkumar, School Teachers and many departmental officers attended.
