Kathir College of Arts and Science in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, recently hosted a one-day International Skill Development Programme titled “Current Business Environment in the World.” Organised by the Tamil Nadu Entrepreneurship Development Cell (TNEDC) of the college, the event aimed to provide students with insights into the global business landscape.

The programme commenced at 10 AM, attracting enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members. Sultan Abdul Sardar, MBA, PGDM, and Head of the iPhone Manufacturing Unit at Apple Park Ltd, Hong Kong, was the Chief Guest. He shared his extensive experience in high-tech manufacturing and the global business sector, offering students a unique perspective on the skills needed to succeed in a rapidly evolving business environment.

Dr. R Karpagam, Principal of Kathir College of Arts and Science, presided over the event. In her address, she emphasised the importance of international interactions in expanding students' horizons and preparing them for global careers.

The event was meticulously organised by Dr. P Saravanan, Coordinator of the TNEDC. He highlighted the cell's objectives and the crucial role such programmes play in equipping students with the necessary skills to thrive in today's competitive world.
