Handloom clothes exhibition organised at Bharathiyar University

Bharathiyar University marked the 10th year of National Handloom Day by organising an exhibition showcasing handloom clothes produced by the Handloom Weavers Co-operative Society in Coimbatore. 
The exhibition, held on the university premises, offers a 20% discount on the displayed clothes from August 7 to August 9.
According to a press release, the exhibition is expected to generate sales of approximately Rs. 30 lakhs worth of handloom clothes. The event was attended by Handlooms DD.Shivakumar, RDO South Ramkumar, DR. of Bharathiyar University Rajamani, and Co-Optex Coimbatore, RM. Amsaveni.
