Community Awareness Research Education Trust (CARE T) conducted a one-day workshop on the Best Textile Model for Human Resources departments, factory managers, and supervisors in the textile industries. 
The workshop took place at Hotel CAG Pride in Coimbatore.
CARE T, a registered Civil Society Organisation, has been actively working on social and environmental issues through research, education, and sustainable development 
since 2002.
The primary goal of the workshop was to promote awareness of best practices in export-oriented textile mills and garment industries in Coimbatore. Attendees were briefed on the United Nations guiding principles on Business and Human Rights and were educated about the importance of Internal Committees at the workplace to ensure a safe environment for women 
workers. Lectures covered the significance of having an internal committee and complaint box at the workplace under the Anti-Sexual Harassment 
Act 2013. 
The workshop also emphasised the importance of promoting the well-being of employees.
In attendance were 40 senior-level HR managers and 15 factory 
managers."
