The inaugural of I year B.N.Y.S. Medical Degree course of the Kongu Naturopathy and Yoga Medical College (KNYMCH) for the academic year 2021-2022 was held at the Kongu Engineering College (KEC) campus on Tuesday. KVIT Trust president V.K.Muthusamy presided. Secretary, P.C.Palanisamy welcomed.
While addressing the gathering, he appreciated the students scored highest mark in the plus 2 with giving gold coin and also assured that 5% of the students scoring high marks in University Exams will be given scholarship from the Trust. Prof.Dr.S.T.Venkateswaran, Head of the Department of Yoga, Govt.
Yoga and Naturopathy College delivered the chief guest address. While addressing, he narrated the role of Naturopathy and Yoga system of Medicine for the psychosocial disorders as well as the chronic diseases which is a common challenges faced by the society in the current scenario globally.
