Women staff to be exempted from election work in hill areas

Erode District Collector Rajagopal Sunkara said that women staff will be exempted from working in hill polling stations.
In the presence of recognized political parties, the Electronic Voting Machines kept in the Electronic Voting Machine Warehouse in the Erode RDO Office premises were sent to the Taluk offices on Friday.
At that time, he told the reporters: In view of the Erode Lok Sabha polls, the work of sending the required voting machines to the 2,222 polling centers in the Erode district has started. These works will be held for two days. In Erode district, 21 complaints were made by telephone and 1 by C-vigil app regarding poll violations. Money will not be confiscated if proper documents are presented. In case of carrying money above Rs 50000, appropriate documents should be carried. 
Women staff will be exempted from election work in the polling stations in hill villages including Kunri, Kadampur, Kuthiyalattur, Thalawadi and Bargur in Sathyamangalam.
