Union Bank of India holds Quiz Competition held in Coimbatore

Union Bank of India conducted a national level public awareness quiz competition titled ``U Genius 3.0'' at an all India level.
Its Coimbatore city and Zonal finals were held yesterday at Hindustan College of Arts and Sciences. It was inaugurated by Satyaban Behera, Zonal Head (Chennai) of the Bank.
More than 600 students of Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode, Salem studying 8th to 12th std participated in the quiz on the topics of general knowledge, general awareness, banking and finance.
Prizes and certificates were awarded to the two winning teams at the end. The winning teams will participate in the grand finals to be held in Mumbai and the winners of the finals will be awarded a cash prize of Rs 2 lakh along with a certificate and a trophy, said Satyaban Behera, Zonal Head (Chennai) of the bank.
Union Bank of India Regional Head S.S. Lavanya (Coimbatore), M. Selladurai (Tirupur), P. M. Senthilkumar (Salem) and Deputy Commissioner of Coimbatore City Traffic Police Ashokumar, Director of Forestry and Tree Producing Kunni Kannan were present at the award ceremony.
