Tourism Minister distributes free bicycles to 562 students at Ooty

Tourism Minister Mr. K. Ramachandran, handed over free bicycles worth Rs. 27.01 lakh to 562 students belonging to 6 schools in the Nilgiris district at a function held at Ooty on 
Thursday.
District Collector Lakshmi Bhavya Thanneru presided. In this event, Coonoor Revenue Commissioner Mr. Satish, District Chief Education Officer Ms. Geeta, Coonoor Municipal Councilor Mr. Waseemraja, Backward and Minority Welfare Officer Mr. Sureshkannan, President of Coonoor Panchayat Union Mrs. Sunithaneru, Planning Committee Member Mr. Ramasamy, Coonoor Block Development Officers Mr. Chandrasekhar, Mr. Subramani, President of Edapally Panchayat Mr. Murugan, Headmistress of St. Mariannai Girls Higher Secondary School Margaret Arogyamari, and many others attended the 
function.
