For India, Economic Explosives, a subsidiary of Solar Industries in Nagpur, has set a record by developing explosives 2.01 times more powerful than 'trinitrotoluene', commonly known as 'TNT'.
This includes the high-powered CEPEX 2, one of the most powerful non-nuclear bombs in the world. This new ammunition combination has been extensively tested and certified by the Indian Navy.
Instead of using 1 kg of TNT, 500 grams of explosives can cause the same amount of impact and destruction.
Bombs, artillery shells and war missiles used by the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force are going to get more destructive power through these bombs. The strength of our three forces is going to increase manifold.
Apart from Sepex 2, the company has also developed two explosives, Sepex 1 and Sepex 4. Efforts are also underway to find more powerful bombs in the next 6 months.
As militaries around the world are looking to increase the capacity of their weapons, there is no doubt that these high-capacity explosives made by India will find a huge response in the foreign export market as well. Some countries are already ready to place their orders.
This achievement is not only a strength but also a pride for India, which is surprising not only to China and Pakistan, but also to the countries of the world, which are constantly hovering over the borders.
It is even more special that we have manufactured these high-performance bombs under the 'Make in India' program.
The day when the world will recognize India as a superpower is not far away!
