Nirmala College for Women organises ‘How to craft UPSC/TNPSC exam’ conference

Nirmala College for Women, in collaboration with KingMakers IAS Academy, hosted an insightful seminar titled "How to Crack UPSC/TNPSC Competitive Exam." The event, organised by the Nirmala Competitive Examination Cell (NCEC), aimed to provide aspiring civil servants with practical strategies to excel in these challenging exams.
The seminar, held at the Morning Star Auditorium, commenced at 10 AM and attracted a large number of eager students. The session was led by two esteemed resource persons: Gopalan Balachandran (IAS Retd.) and Sathyashree Boominathan (Founder & Director, KingMakers IAS Academy). Sathyashree Boominathan kicked off the event with a comprehensive introduction to the UPSC and TNPSC exams, focusing on key elements such as dedication, time management, and syllabus mastery. His interactive approach helped address common concerns about study materials and effective preparation techniques.
Gopalan Balachandran (IAS Retd.) followed with an in-depth explanation of the exam patterns and shared valuable preparation tips based on his vast experience as an IAS officer. His motivational advice, particularly around perseverance and strategic planning, resonated deeply with the audience. Both speakers emphasised the importance of having a structured study plan, covering the syllabus thoroughly, and engaging in regular practice.
