Nilgiris Collector inaugurates tree sapling plantation at Botanical Garden

Nilgiris Collector Lakshmi Bhavya Thanneru inaugurated a tree sapling plantation event at the Government Botanical Garden on July 26, marking the start of preparations for the next year's flower show as part of the garden's 176th year celebrations. 
The district collector mentioned that 60 varieties of flower seeds have been sourced from various states in India, including Punjab, Kolkata, Pune, and Kashmir. These seeds have been planted both in the garden and in flower pots for the upcoming flower show.
Associate Director of Horticulture, Shiphila Mary, Assistant Director Bepitha, Horticulture Officer Ilakkiya, Assistant Horticulture Officer Ashwin, and other officials were present at the event.
