machandran and Minister of Information and Publicity MP Saminathan inspected the government museum at Udhagai Stonehouse in Nilgiris on August 11.
The museum features a wide range of exhibits, including pictures and artwork that depict excavation sites, antiques, and historical notes from the period following the arrival of Europeans.
It also showcases images portraying tribal culture, the essentials used by tribal people, and insights into their lives.
During the event, Minister MP Saminathan expressed his appreciation for the museum, stating, "I consider the opportunity to visit the government museum in Nilgiris as a privilege.
This museum is a treasure. As the Chief Minister wants all the museums to be maintained well, I hope the authorities will ensure the museum is well taken care of and all necessary maintenance work is done regularly."
The inspection was attended by Udhagai Tahsildar Saravanakumar, Government Museum Artist Ishwaran, and other officials.
