Minister hands over orders under Kalaignar housing project at Tiruppur

Minister of Tamil Development and Information Mr. M. P. Saminathan and  Minister of Adi Dravidar Welfare Mrs. N. Kayalvizhi Selvaraj issued orders to 175 beneficiaries in Kangeyam, Vellakovil and Mulanoor Panchayat Unions under the  Kalaignar's Dream House Project and Repairing of Rural Houses projects at a cost of Rs 5.97 Crore at a function held at  Velappanayakanvalasu Panchayat, in Vellakoil block on Thursday. Collector T Christuraj was present.
In his speech, Mr. M. P. Saminathan said on behalf of the Department of Rural Development and Panchayats, orders were given to the beneficiaries.Tamilnadu government is implementing the goal of one house per family. 
Expanding the pilot project of building concrete houses brought by the former Chief Minister Kalaignar, Chief Minister said that Tamil Nadu should become a state without slums and the Kalaignar's dream house project will be developed and houses will be built. In this event, Tiruppur Municipal Corporation 4th Zone Chairman Mr. Ila. Padmanapan, Darapuram RDO Mr. Senthil Arasan, Kangeyam RDO Mr. Mailsamy, Executive Engineer (Rural Development) Mr. Azhakuraja, and officials were present.
